04Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and measure our own marketing.
| Type | What it does | Can you turn it off? |
| Essential | Security, spam protection on forms, remembering your cookie choice | No, the site needs them |
| Preference | Remembers small choices, such as checklist progress saved in your browser | Yes, by clearing browser storage |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows which pages are useful, for example Google Analytics | Yes |
| Marketing | Measures our own ads, for example Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn or Google pixels | Yes |
Where the law requires it, analytics and marketing cookies load only after you agree in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may work less well without them.
Some pages show videos and images from third-party hosts. Those hosts may receive your IP address when the media loads.
05Sharing and international transfers
We share personal information only with people who need it to help us run the business:
- Service providers: website hosting, email, CRM, analytics, scheduling and file-sharing tools that process data on our behalf.
- Advertising and analytics platforms: when you accept marketing or analytics cookies.
- Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants and auditors, under confidentiality.
- Authorities: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
- Business changes: a buyer or successor if the business is merged or sold.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and some of our team and providers work from or store data in other countries, including Pakistan and the European Union. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
06How long we keep it, and security
| Data | Kept for |
| Inquiries that do not become projects | Up to 24 months after our last contact |
| Client records and contracts | As long as the contract runs, then as long as tax and legal rules require |
| Newsletter and event list | Until you unsubscribe |
| Analytics data | Up to 14 months |
We use HTTPS, access controls and trusted providers to protect your data. No system is fully secure, so please contact us right away if you think your data has been put at risk.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete your information
- Limit or object to how we use it, including for direct marketing
- Send your information to you or another company in a portable format
- Withdraw consent you gave earlier, without affecting past use
California residents can also ask what categories of information we collect and share, and will not be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that requires an opt-out, other than through the cookies you accept.
To use any of these rights, email info@socialxpertz.com or use the request form below. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
